How To Be Ready for Life After Death

How To Be Ready for Life After Death

One day in the evening I was sitting alone. The day was very long and I was tired. The sky was slowly getting dark. There was silence everywhere. There was no mobile phone or any noise. I was just me and my thoughts.

In this silence, a question came to my heart. What am I preparing for?

We all plan a lot in our lives. Job, money, house, future. We worry about tomorrow, worry about next month. But we forget one very important thing. Death.

Death is not a story. It is true. And one day everyone will come.

This writing is not just talk. It is a feeling. A simple guide on how we can prepare for life after our death.

Understanding death

First of all, we have to believe that death is real.

We often think that death is far away. But it is not. One day I went to the cemetery. There was a lot of silence. My heart felt a little heavy.

There was a human being in every grave. He was once alive like us. He also had dreams. But now all that is gone.

Only his deeds remain.

Then I felt that the life of this world is very short.

Changing the purpose of your life

When you realize death, your thinking changes.

First we think how successful we are. But then we think what we have sent forward.

Money stays here. Name also disappears. But your good and bad deeds go with it.

One day I was very busy. Work was work. But there was no peace in my heart. Then I understood that just being busy is not enough.

The real point is what we are doing.

Strengthening the relationship with Allah

The most important thing to prepare for after death is relationship with Allah.

Prayer should not be just a habit. It should be from the heart. Talk to Allah. Pray. Give thanks.

Sometimes I also used to pray in a hurry. But when I started praying calmly, my heart found peace.

Small good deeds are also very important.

Every action counts

We should understand that every action is being written down.

Everything we say, everything we do, will be accounted for.

Once I spoke harshly to someone. Later I felt bad. I kept thinking that this action was not good.

This feeling makes us better.

Letting go of useless things

We waste time on many useless things.

Fights, stubbornness, ego. All these things do not bring any benefit.

Once I had a fight with someone. My heart was sad for many days. Then I wondered if this thing would be useful after death.

The answer was no.

I let go of that thing and my heart became lighter.

Doing good without meaning

Good deeds are the most valuable things.

Helping someone, speaking well, smiling. These seem like small things but they are very big.

Once I helped someone. He did not even thank me. But I was happy from the bottom of my heart.

This is real happiness.

Apologizing

We all make mistakes.

But we must apologize.

Ask for forgiveness from Allah. Ask from the heart. And try not to make the same mistake again.

When I truly repented, my heart found peace.

As long as a person is alive, there is an opportunity.

Fixing your heart

Not only actions, but also the heart should be fixed.

If there is jealousy, anger, or pride in the heart, then actions will also be bad.

We should speak the truth, be patient, and have a soft heart.

When the heart is fixed, everything is fixed.

Remembering death

Remembering death is not bad.

It makes us better.

When we remember that we have to die one day, we do good deeds.

We treat people well.

Doing work that will benefit us later

There are some works that will benefit us even after death.

Like teaching someone knowledge, helping someone, leaving behind good children.

There was a teacher who taught me something. He is no longer in this world. But his words are still useful to me today.

This is the real success.

The last thing

Preparing for death is not difficult.

Just the intention should be clear.

Do small good deeds. Stay connected to Allah.

Gradually everything will become easier.

It is not necessary to be perfect. It is necessary to try.

And perhaps this effort will make us successful.
