On the way, Satan also tried to seduce Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him). He wanted to stop him from following Allah’s command.

This teaches us that whenever we do a good deed, Satan tries to stop us. But we must obey Allah.
Allah’s Mercy
When Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) was about to sacrifice his son, Allah sent a ram instead of Prophet Ishmael (peace be upon him).
Allah saved Prophet Ishmael (peace be upon him).
This was a test for Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him). Allah wanted to see how obedient he was.
When Prophet Abraham passed this test, Allah showed His mercy.
